Validates an ISBN-10 or ISBN-13 using its check digit and converts between them. ISBN-13 uses alternating weights of 1 and 3 and must total a multiple of 10, while ISBN-10 uses weights 10 to 1 and divides by 11, with X standing for 10. Books published since 2007 use 13 digits.
