Frequently asked questions
Why is some vocal still left in the karaoke track?
Reverb and backing vocals are spread across the stereo field, so centre cancelling cannot remove them. Mono songs cannot be processed this way at all.
Which songs give the best karaoke result?
Songs with the lead vocal centred in a stereo mix work best, since that is the part the tool removes. Mono recordings and songs with vocals spread wide give weaker results.
Can I get a perfectly clean instrumental?
Not always. This method removes what is centred in the mix, so some effects, backing vocals or instruments may be reduced too. Treat the result as a good karaoke track.
Is Vocal remover (karaoke) free?
Yes. Vocal remover (karaoke) on Toolipedia is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Is it safe to use?
Yes. Your files travel over an encrypted connection, are processed automatically, and are deleted as soon as the result is ready. Nobody looks at them.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on Android and iPhone, as well as on tablets and computers. There's nothing to install.

Up to 200 MB in total. You can add several files at once.
