Can INI hold nested data?
Only one level: sections containing key-value pairs. Deeper structures need TOML or JSON, and converting to INI may flatten them.
Why does my TOML fail to parse?
Check that strings are quoted, tables use square brackets and each key is unique. The error message shows the line that needs fixing.
What happens to comments in the file?
JSON has no comments, so they cannot be kept when converting to it. Keep your original file if the comments matter.
