Frequently asked questions
In what order are my photos used?
They are sorted by file name, so use numbered names such as photo001 to photo100 to make sure the order is correct.
How many photos do I need?
More photos give a longer, smoother timelapse. As a rough idea, the number of photos divided by the frame rate is the length in seconds, so plan for the length you want.
Why does my timelapse flicker?
Changes in brightness between photos, often from automatic exposure, cause flicker. Lock the exposure and focus on your camera when shooting a timelapse.
Is Timelapse maker free?
Yes. Timelapse maker on Toolipedia is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Is it safe to use?
Yes. Your files travel over an encrypted connection, are processed automatically, and are deleted as soon as the result is ready. Nobody looks at them.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on Android and iPhone, as well as on tablets and computers. There's nothing to install.
How big can my files be?
Up to 200 MB in total. You can add several files at once.
Do I need an account?
No. Just open the page and use the tool. There's no sign-up and no email needed.
