    Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate only one page?

Yes. Choose the pages to rotate (for example 3 or 2-5) and the angle. The other pages stay as they are.

    Is the rotation permanent?

Yes, the saved PDF has its pages turned, so it looks the same in every program.

Which angle should I pick for a sideways scan?

If the top of the page points left, rotate 90 degrees clockwise. If it points right, rotate 90 degrees counter-clockwise. For upside-down pages choose 180 degrees. Check the first page of the result.

Why did my PDF still look wrong in my viewer?

Some viewers keep their own rotation view. Close and reopen the downloaded file, and make sure you are opening the new copy rather than the original.

    Is Rotate PDF free?

Yes. Rotate PDF on Toolipedia is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark.

    Is it safe to use?

Yes. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files are never uploaded anywhere.

Yes. It works in any modern browser on Android and iPhone, as well as on tablets and computers. There's nothing to install.

Up to 200 MB in total. You can add several files at once.

    Do I need an account?
