Frequently asked questions
Which formats can I convert between?
Common ones include Markdown, HTML, DOCX, ODT, EPUB, LaTeX, reStructuredText, RTF and Jupyter. Pick the output in the Convert to option. Layout-heavy documents may need small manual fixes afterwards.
Which direction gives the best results?
Simple structured text converts best: headings, paragraphs, lists and links. Complex layouts, columns and unusual fonts may not survive between formats, so review the output.
Why does my converted file look different?
Each format stores things in its own way, so layout details can change. Plain structure is kept, but exact spacing and styling are often rebuilt. Adjust the styles in the target program.
Is Text & markup converter free?
Yes. Text & markup converter on Toolipedia is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Is it safe to use?

Up to 200 MB in total. You can add several files at once.
