Frequently asked questions
Will my web page design be kept in Word?
Mostly the content and structure are kept: headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and images. Fancy CSS layouts, animations and scripts are not, so expect a simpler, document-style result.
Why are images missing in my Word file?
Pictures linked from the web or stored in a separate folder may not be found during conversion. Keep images next to the HTML file or embed them inside it, then convert again.
Can I convert a page I saw online?
Save the page as an HTML file from your browser first, then add that file. Scripts and menus usually do not carry over, but the main text, headings and lists are the part that converts well.
Is HTML to Word free?
Yes. HTML to Word on Toolipedia is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Is it safe to use?
Yes. Your files travel over an encrypted connection, are processed automatically, and are deleted as soon as the result is ready. Nobody looks at them.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on Android and iPhone, as well as on tablets and computers. There's nothing to install.
How big can my files be?
Up to 200 MB in total. You can add several files at once.
Do I need an account?
No. Just open the page and use the tool. There's no sign-up and no email needed.
