How do I convert hex to RGB by hand?
Split the six hex digits into three pairs and convert each pair from base 16 to decimal. For #1E90FF: 1E = 30, 90 = 144, FF = 255, so rgb(30, 144, 255).
What does a 3-digit hex colour mean?
It is a shortcut where each digit is doubled: #0AF is the same as #00AAFF.
Why do the CMYK numbers look different from my printer?
CMYK here is a mathematical conversion from screen RGB. Real printers use colour profiles and inks, so printed colours can differ. Treat the numbers as a starting point and check a proof.
What is OKLCH and when should I use it?
