Which video format should I choose?
MP4 works almost everywhere and is the best default. Choose WEBM for websites, MKV for multi-track archives and AVI only for old software.
Why does my converted video have no sound on one device?
Some devices cannot play certain audio codecs even when the container is supported. MP4 is the most widely supported choice, so try converting to it.
Does converting make the video lower in quality?
