About Small text generator
Creates small caps, superscript and subscript text from normal letters using Unicode characters. Superscripts are handy for footnote markers and units, subscripts for chemical formulas like H2O. Support is patchy for some letters, so a few characters may fall back to normal size.

Frequently asked questions
Why are some letters not shrunk?
Unicode has no tiny version of every letter, especially for superscript and subscript. Missing ones stay in normal size, so the text can look uneven. Small caps cover most of the alphabet.
Can I use it to write maths or chemical formulas?
For simple cases, yes: superscript for powers like x2 and subscript for H2O. Not every letter has a tiny version, so complex formulas are better written in a proper editor.
Why is small text harder to read?
These are real characters with small shapes, so screens may blur them, especially on low-resolution displays. Use them for short labels, not for long sentences.
Is Small text generator free?
Yes. Small text generator on Toolipedia is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Is it safe to use?
Yes. Everything is worked out in your browser, and nothing you enter is sent to our server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on Android and iPhone, as well as on tablets and computers. There's nothing to install.
