Frequently asked questions
Why does it say my cube is invalid?
Usually a colour was entered wrongly, since each colour must appear exactly nine times. A cube taken apart and rebuilt wrongly can also be unsolvable, so recheck every face.
How should I hold the cube while following moves?
Keep the same orientation you used when entering colours, with the same face toward you and the same face on top. A different grip changes what each letter means.
What do the move letters mean?
Each letter turns one face a quarter turn clockwise, such as U for up and R for right. A prime mark means anticlockwise and a 2 means a half turn.
