About Round image corners
Apply rounded corners to a photo or screenshot and save it as a PNG with transparent corners, ready for websites, slides or app icons. A larger radius gives a softer look, and a very large one produces a circle on a square image. JPEG cannot hold transparency.
How to use Round image corners
- Add the photo or screenshot.
- Set how round the corners should be with the radius slider.
- Save the image as a PNG so the corners stay transparent.

Frequently asked questions
Why do my corners turn white or black?
The format does not support transparency. Save as PNG or WEBP to keep the corners see-through, and avoid JPEG, which fills transparent areas with a solid colour.
How large should the corner radius be?
Small values around a few percent give a soft, modern edge, while large values turn a square picture into a circle. Judge it in the preview at the size you will actually display.
Can I make a perfectly round profile picture?
Use a square image and set the radius to the maximum. The corners then become a full circle, which suits avatars. If your picture is not square, crop it first.
