About IP address converter

Convert an IPv4 address between dotted form, a single decimal number, hexadecimal and binary, and expand or shorten IPv6 addresses. For example 192.168.0.1 equals 3232235521 in decimal. Shortening IPv6 drops leading zeros and replaces one run of zero groups with a double colon.

How to use IP address converter

  1. Type an IPv4 address, a decimal number, or an IPv6 address.
  2. Read the dotted, decimal, hex and binary forms.
  3. For IPv6, copy the expanded or shortened version.
